Founded in 2006, Gard Vintners is a family-owned and operated estate winery in the heart of Washington’s Columbia Valley AVA, with vineyards on the Royal Slope, wine production in Walla Walla, and tasting rooms in Woodinville, Walla Walla, and Ellensburg.
The word Gård, which means “farm,” honors the Scandinavian heritage of the Lawrence family. They have been farming the fertile Royal Slope of Washington’s Columbia Valley for more than 45 years.
Brix Elevage Wine Co.
Brix was first founded in Ellensburg in 2008 with the vision “We Must Create” to produce a product that goes far beyond the dinner plate and the wine glass. Brix was taken into the careful hands of husband and wife duo, Tony & Stephanie Ritter, in July 2018. Stephanie, long time former Brix employee and Central Washington University alumni, and Tony, owner of Ellensburg’s The Roost Tattoo Studio, took on ownership to continue the creative legacy with a focus on community integration.
Brix thrives upon supporting local artists, breweries, wineries, farmers, and musicians, while enjoying bringing everyone in the community around the same table.
