Snowshoeing at Blewett Pass

Join us for snowshoeing at Blewett Pass. Open to all skill levels!

  • Prep: Pack snowshoes, poles, warm layers, snow or rain pants, windproof shell, hat, gloves, a pack with water and snacks, and gaiters (optional). Your local REI has snowshoes available for rent.
  • Getting there (7-9am): The drive takes ~2 hours from Seattle. There will be a group chat to arrange carpooling.
  • At the parking lot (9-9:30am): Huddle and gear up with warm chai, coffee, and light pastries. Please note that each vehicle will need a Sno-Parks permit.
  • Snowshoeing (~3 hours): The trail is 6.0 miles roundtrip, with 400 feet of elevation. Great for all levels, including first time snowshoers. Here is the link to the trail: https://www.wta.org/go-hiking/hikes/wenatchee-crest-snowshoe
  • Post snowshoe: If folks are interested, we can grab lunch at a local spot!
