Once again, I travel to a place I have never been before: The Last Resort in Ronald, Washington. If you have ever been to Salmon La Sac or French Cabin Creek, you have likely driven by this gem.

First off, I must speak to the customer service. I give them 5 STARS. Everyone I talked to was warm, friendly, funny, and downright cool. Plus, they were very knowledgeable about the area and the items they rent, which is essential for tourism in this beautiful region.
My first stop was the cozy motel. They have both double and single rooms, as well as 9 quaint RV sites and some dry camping spots for tent campers. Nothing fancy, but it works well for a place to set up and enjoy all the wonderful things that this area has to offer.
For water activities in Ronald, they have:
- Pontoonboats
- Sea-DooSwitch
- Sea-Doos
- Canoes
- Kayaks
- Paddleboards
For snow activities, they have:
- Snowmobiles (5 different kinds)
- Snowbikes (What the heck? I have never heard of this!)
- You can also rent all the gear
They also have 3 different kinds of e-bikes.

This place also serves as a store for various types of outdoor gear, making it a great spot to learn if you are thinking about getting into a new hobby. They know it all and love to share their knowledge. It is also a supply store for camping essentials; you know, like if you forget beer (who would do that)?
This side gig job I have has not only been fun for me, but also enjoyable for my family. I get to take them with me when it works out. So when my 15-year-old son says he had a good time, you know it actually was! We stayed out on the lake for a few hours and tried to fish. We didn't catch anything, but that’s how it goes. It is so beautiful out on Lake Cle Elum; the boat truly makes it EXTRA special!

We took out a Sea-Doo Switch, which, to me, is a pontoon boat that you drive like a Sea-Doo. It was so much fun to ride! It was fast, but not scary. They loaded it into the water for us and came back to pick us up. They taught us what to do and how to not mess it up. They even provide day boaters licenses, meaning it's a literal one-stop shop for all your rental needs.
If you are up for some adventure or just need to get out of whatever city you live in for a day or weekend, I would definitely suggest this place in Ronald, Washington. The rooms are reasonable, and there is so much to do. As a bonus, you get to drive through Roslyn to get there, where you can find gas and a restaurant. But I warn you, this is for people who enjoy the outdoors. If that’s not your thing, I would recommend staying home. Make a reservation, gather the kids, and invite a few cool friends. Pack up the car and head over to Ronald to experience its beauty!
