4 Things to do in Snoqualmie Pass Besides Hitting the Slopes!

The Snoqualmie Pass is a fantastic destination year-round, but it is mainly known for skiing, snowboarding, and other winter sports, as it has resorts such as The Summit at Snoqualmie and Silver Fir Lodge. However, Snoqualmie Pass has so much more to offer than just skiing and snowboarding when you are in the area. So, with that in mind, let's take a look at four things to do in Snoqualmie Pass besides hitting the slopes!

Visit Laconia Market

Named after a historic train stop located nearby, Laconia Market is a new addition to Snoqualmie Pass, slated to open early 2022. The market and cafe plans to offer fresh produce, grab-and-go items, coffee, beer, and wine to the residents and visitors of the Pass! It will be a fantastic place to get something quick for the road or stop, sit down, and relax for a while.

Explore the Washington State Ski and Snowboard Museum

If you aren't on the slopes, check out Washington State Ski and Snowboard Museum to explore the history of them instead! This great museum is free thanks to donors, making it a great place to visit when you're in the area. There are tons of collections here that include Ski Mountaineering, Washington Snow Sport Venues, and Olympians From the Area. You can learn so much about the history of skiing and snowboarding and even more about the area if you visit this museum.

Enjoy an Apres Ski at Dru Bru

Dru Bru is a brewery in Snoqualmie Pass that is open year-round, making it a must-stop whenever you go through the Pass. The taproom and heated outdoor patio give you amazing views of both Guye Peak and Snoqualmie Mountain. There are 15 active taps of beers and ciders that are award-winning! They also offer non-alcoholic options and a variety of to-go options such as six-packs, growlers, and bottles.

The Commonwealth is a restaurant that serves up some of the best home-cooked and locally sourced food in the area. They have some fantastic options such as Mediterranean Salmon Salad, BBQ Pork Sandwich, and 906 Burger. They have a variety of cocktails, beers, and other drinks that will complement your meal greatly! The Commonwealth is a great place in Snoqualmie Pass to come with friends and family.
